Blossom - A short film Project
A project for Michael Cacoyannis Foundation

Because Creative Group operated as the executive producer in an artistic short film project, inspired by the life of one of the most important Greek theater & film directors, Michael Cacoyannis (1922-2011). The story focuses on a lawyer with a hidden passion for cinema who, inspired by a theater play of the Cherry Orchard by Checkhov and his encounter with an actress, decides to make a leap of faith and direct his first movie. 

 

The film travels through an Athenian night and the meeting of two strangers to an impressionistic and colourful setup on the countryside - an homage to Cacoyannis aim to merge the worlds of theater and cinema, meets the timeless message of pursuing our true passions.
